Today we made a tasty protein bar recipe that the customer named ‘Sweet Vegan Booty’.
Here is a list of the main ingredients in this gourmet creation:
- Roasted almond butter
- Fiber syrup
- Coconut flour
- Pea protein
- Vegan blend
To add more high quality protein (to the tune of about 1 gram per bar), the customer added collagen peptides. Collagen peptides are an excellent source of usable protein that the body can use to repair muscle and connective tissue.
When it comes to a crispy and crunchy texture, this bar won’t disappoint, thanks to the combination of pea protein crisps, cocoa rice crisps, pecans, and toasted coconut.
Chia seeds were added to boost fiber content and increase levels of omega 3’s.
In the dried fruit department, both freeze-dried blueberries and freeze-dried strawberries were selected. These are two of our favorite selections in this popular category.
To add antioxidants and more unique flavor, organic cinnamon powder was used.
