Today we made a vegan nutrition bar recipe called ‘PoppinCherry GingerCrisp’.
There were quite a few ingredients in this creation, starting out with the following:
- Sunflower seed butter
- Raw clover honey
- Vegan protein blend
- Pea protein isolate
- Brown rice protein
The customer wanted a crispy and crunchy texture, so they added both cacao nibs and pea protein crisps to the mix.
Under the ‘nuts & seeds’ category, poppy seeds and hemp hearts were added. Both add a little flavor and healthy fats.
For more flavor, ground coffee, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and ginger were used.
There were two dried fruits in this recipe; coconut, and tart cherry. Both provide additional texture and plenty of flavor.
The final ingredient used was bee pollen, which helps add a good amount of antioxidants.
