Today we made a protein bar called ‘Mom’s breakfast’. This customer chose simple ingredients along with the ‘soft & datey’ texture option, which uses dates as one of the main binding ingredients in the recipe.
In addition to the date paste, almond butter and whey protein isolate were also added in order to ensure a great consistency.
There were only six total ingredients in this bar. Brazil nuts and oats add texture, while tart cherries and ground coffee add plenty of flavor.
The final ingredients were chia powder (adds omega 3’s and fiber), and guarana powder a natural form of caffeine.
The numbers: 238 Calories, 14g Fat, 23g Carbohydrates (16g Sugar/6g Fiber), 10g protein.
