Today we made a bar called ‘#MKJSkiSummit’. This was one of five different recipes created by a business to promote an event for their employees.
The customer chose a ‘soft & datey’ base for this bar, with a combination of almond butter, cashew butter, pea protein, brown rice protein, and coconut flour in addition to the date base.
Peanuts, cashews, cacao nibs, tart cherries, and coconut were added to the recipe to enhance both the flavor and texture of the bars.
A combination of chia and flaxseed powder (very popular in many recipes), were added to boost omega 3’s and fiber.
To really boost flavor, the customer also added cacao powder, ground coffee, and vanilla.
The ‘#MKJSkieSummit’ protein bar recipe works out to 255 calories per 55g bar, with 14g Fat, 26g Carbs (15g Sugar/5g Fiber), and 10g protein.
