Today we made a simple 10 ingredient protein bar that the customer named ‘Mike H.’. This was a date-based recipe with ‘extra’ date paste.
The other main ingredients in this bar were:
- Cashew butter
- Whey isolate
To boost flavor, dark chocolate chips cacao powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt were added. In our opinion, the combination of these four ingredients is about as good as it gets!
Pea protein crisps were added for both increased protein levels and a crispy/crunchy texture.
The final ingredient in this recipe was guarana powder, a natural form of caffeine. Even small amounts of guarana provide noticeable boosts of energy.
