Today we made a ‘cheat day’ protein bar called ‘Loshi II”.
For this recipe, the customer chose the ‘soft & nutty/seedy’ base with the following main ingredients:
- Egg white protein
- Coconut nectar
- Raw almond butter
- Sunflower seed butter
Pea protein crisps were another addition that ad plenty of crunch to each bite.
To kick up the omega 3 fatty acid content in the recipe, both flaxseeds and hemp hearts were added.
The following four ingredients were used to add plenty of flavor:
- Ground coffee
- Cinnamon powder
- Cacao powder
- Sea salt
A small amount of maca root powder finished this recipe off.
