Today we made a ‘soft & nutty’ protein bar recipe this return-customer named ‘Julesy’s Keto – Roasted 2’.

In this second version of her ‘cheat day’ bar, she used the following base ingredients:
- Roasted almond butter
- Fiber syrup
- Coconut flour
- Whey protein isolate
In addition to the coconut flour, coconut mana was added to increase the overall coconut flavor.
Cocoa butter chunks were another unique addition to this recipe. They add healthy fats and a nice texture to each bite.
In the nut & seed category, hemp hearts and sliced almonds were selected.
In terms of flavor, this bar has plenty of it thanks to the addition of these ingredients:
- Cacao powder
- Vanilla extract
- Caramel flavor
- Rum flavor
- Sea salt
The final addition was maca root powder. It doesn’t add notable flavor, but does have nutritional benefits.

Expect a plethora of flavors in this concoction–most notably a combination of roasted almond butter, coconut, and caramel/rum.
In terms of texture, expect a chewy consistency with a nice assortment of chunks and crunchy pieces.
