Today we made another ‘soft & datey’ protein bar called the ‘Glop 2019 Breakfast Bar’.
In addition to date paste, the customer chose an organic cashew butter as the main nut butter.
To boost protein levels in this bar, a combination of the following three protein powders were used:
- Whey isolate
- Pea isolate
- Sprouted brown rice protein
Using three different protein powders diversifies the amino acid profile of this recipe.
There are only five other ingredients in this simple recipe:
- Dark chocolate ships (great flavor)
- Sunflower seeds
- Chia seeds (fiber & omega 3’s)
