Today we made ‘GingerCrisp’, a ‘soft & nutty/seedy’ protein bar recipe created by one of our customers.
The following ingredients were used as a ‘base’ for this bar:
- Almond butter
- Fiber syrup
- Vegan protein blend
- Coconut flour
For additional flavor and to add a crunchy texture, the customer also added organic cacao nibs, organic pumpkin seeds, and pistachios.
Under the ‘dried fruit’ category, both cranberries and shredded coconut were selected.
As you may have expected (and to live up to its name!) organic ginger powder and both pea protein crisps and brown rice crisps got the nod in this concoction.
The final ingredient was bee pollen which doesn’t offer much in terms of flavor, but does offer some significant nutritional benefits.

What to Expect
A mildly sweet earthy almond flavor with a hint of coconut and ginger. The freeze-dried cranberries will provide a little tartness. A very nut-buttery texture with plenty of crispy/crunchiness.
