Today we made another ‘soft & chewy’ protein bar recipe. The customer named this concoction ‘Fiber Protein Bar’, and chose these main ingredients:
- Cashew butter
- Fiber syrup
- Date paste
- Whey isolate
- Pea isolate
- Buckwheat flour
This is another very crispy/crunchy texture bar, thanks to the combination of pea crisps and brown rice crisps, as well as almond and hazelnut pieces.
The sole dried fruit choice in the ‘Fiber Protein Bar’ was organic sour cherries. These little guys add additional chewiness along with their satisfying sour flavor.
The two notable nutrient enhancing ‘boosters’ added to this recipe were wheatgrass and maca. Both of these powders have some unique benefits to help cleanse the body.
The final ingredients in this bar were Brazilian coffee, guarana, and sea salt. Expect plenty of coffee flavor in this recipe, along with noticeable energy boosts thanks to the caffeine.

A mildly sweet, nutty coffee flavor. Noticable energy boost from the coffee/guarana combination. Very crispy and crunchy. Some earthiness (pea protein), but not over the top.
