Today we made a protein bar recipe called ‘Experiment 2’.
This concoction has a ‘nutty/seedy’ base, consisting of the following main ingredients:
- Cashew Butter
- Coconut Nectar
- Vegan protein blend (rice/pea/hemp)
To add both flavor and texture, these were the nut/seed and dried fruit choices:
- Goji Berries
For a fiber and omega 3 fatty acid boost, both chia powder and flaxseed powder were added.
The combination of cacao nibs, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract ensure maximal chocolate flavor.
Finally, pea protein crisps were used to increase protein levels and add a significant crunch to each bite.
Each 55g bar contains the following: 276 Calories, 18g Fat, 22g Carbohydrates (7g Sugar/4g Fiber), 12g Protein.

Expect a slightly ‘earthy’ coconut nectar dominant flavored bar with a hint of chocolate. The cacao nibs, pea protein, and pecans will provide plenty of crisp and crunch.
