Today we made ‘CHANG’S NUTS’–another vegan ‘soft & chewy’ recipe as chosen by the customer.
In this bar coconut flour was used instead of a protein powder, along with fiber syrup, dates, sunflower seed butter, peanut butter, and cashew as the remaining base ingredients.
To add additional crunch, organic cashews and cacao nibs were also added, along with coconut and blueberries for unique taste.
Three more powders were also added–maca, cacao, and cinnamon. Although the maca doesn’t add much in terms of flavor, it does add powerful antioxidants and unique nutrients. Cinnamon adds a little zest, while cacao provides a hint of chocolate flavor.
The macros are as follows: 218 Calories, 11g Fat, 30g Carbohydrates (9g Sugar/15g Fiber), 6g protein.
