Today we made a recipe that the customer called ‘Better Bar’.
This vegan recipe used 11 ingredients, and a ‘soft & chewy’ base (dates, peanut butter, fiber syrup, and a vegan protein blend).
With a combination of both pea protein crisps and brown rice crisps, expect some major crispiness here! A crispy texture is popular, but it’s not often that a customer chooses both of these texture enhancing options.
To add more unique flavor, the customer chose these three ingredients:
- Dark chocolate chips
- Sour cherries
- Goji berries
For a health boost, bee pollen and ginger were added as boosters.
About 1 gram of sea salt finishes the ‘Better Bar’ off. It’s a nice touch, and a recipe that we use in all of our ‘house flavors’.
Here is how the nutrition stats look for this creation: 220 Calories, 8g Fat, 28g Carbs (10g sugar/12g fiber), 14g protein.
Expect a strong peanut butter flavor, and an extremely crispy texture with this recipe. The chocolate chips and sea salt are a nice touch. You might want to forego the fround ginger powder if you aren’t a fan, but with only around half a gram per bar the flavor won’t be over-powering.
