Today we made a protein bar recipe that the customer named ‘Better Than Toast’. We sure hope this one lived up to its name!!!
This was a ‘soft & datey’ concoction that only used a total of 10 ingredients.
The base selections were as follows:
- Almond butter
- Whey isolate
Under the ‘nuts & seed’ category, chopped almonds and cashews were added.
There were also two dried fruit options selected; Blueberries, and goji berries.
The only other ingredient added to ‘Better Than Toast’ was organic ground cinnamon, an option under the ‘boosters’ section.

What to Expect
Dates and almond butter will be the most dominant flavor in this mildly sweet bar. You’ll definitely notice the cinnamon, along with a hint of the dried berries. The dark chocolate chips will add to the sweetness. The texture will be oaty with a little crunch and some chewiness when you bite into a goji berry.
