Maple sugar flakes are a tasty protein bar recipe addition that add a nice maple flavored sweetness.

They work well with most ingredients, but combine particularly well with the following:

What are They?

Nothing more than thin shavings of pure organic dried maple syrup. A natural sugar/sweetener bursting with flavor.

How are They Made?

Pure maple syrup is dehydrated, then ground and sifted into small flakes.

What do They Taste Like?

What’s Their Texture?

Small hard crunchy chunks at first, but over time they will absorb the wet ingredients and become soft.

They are a sweetener, so don’t expect any fantastic health benefits.
