Choosing The Right Seed/Nut Butter for Your Custom Protein Bars

All of our custom protein bars contain a certain percentage of nut/seed butter (the actual percentage depends on the base you choose).

Nut and seed butters are high in healthy fats, adding lots of flavor and palatability to each bite of your bar. They also have respectable levels of protein, helping contribute to the overall protein content of your bar.

Since we offer nine different nut butters, we decided to create this post to offer more insight about each option.

Below is a more information about each of  the nut/seed butters you can select when creating your own bar:

Roasted Almond Butter

One of our most popular options, a great choice if you love almond flavor. Good protein content.

Cashew Butter Nut butter on spoon

Our top choice because has a smooth and neutral flavor profile. Helps maximize the flavors of the other ingredients you add to your bar.

Chocolate Hazelnut Butter (Roasted)

The combination of roasted hazelnuts, chocolate, and sea salt makes this an option that you simply can’t go wrong with no matter what type of bar you are after.

Chocolate Honey Almond Butter

Roasted almonds, chocolate, honey, and sea salt. A smooth chocolatey flavor with just the right level of sweetness.

Chocolate Honey Cashew Butter

Peanut Butter

A legume, but classified as a nut/nut butter by most. Highest in protein and calories of all of the options. Very strong flavor profile even when mixed with another nut or seed butter.

Raw Almond Butter

Raw almond butter has a smooth flavor, not as strong as roasted almond butter. Contains beneficial enzymes not found in roasted almonds. Made with unpasteurized European almonds.

Sunflower Seed Butter

Sunflower seed butter is currently the only nut-free option. It has a strong sunflower seed flavor that will overpower many other ingredients in your bar. Lower in protein than the nut butters.
